Our story in forestry
- 1934: Grandfather Edvard sets up a water-powered sawmill
- 1947: The sawmill is upgraded to an electric Mariannelund sawmill with rack-and-pinion drive, closer to the road between Sunne and Gräsmark
- Following years: The equipment is expanded with a dry splitter, edging saw and Jonsered five-cutter planer, powered by the same electric motor using adjusted drive belts
- 1981: The modern business starts as a partnership
- 1988: First forestry machine purchased
- 1994: Gettjärns Skogsprodukter AB is established
